My friend Lisa gave me this recipe to try!
I cut up some apples:
And added some raisins, which were not in the recipe, but my family definitely loves raisins in their oatmeal. I would have added craisins, too, but we are out.
I layered that with some brown sugar and cinnamon:
And then measured out my legit, gluten free oats (I don’t know that quick oats would work for this):
Then I added the water:
I set it on low, and we will see in the morning how this works for our family. I am so excited! This snow day was the perfect time to try it!
